Hi,
Server is back online. Apperently some bot/user used an exploit/bug to bring the tsserver process down, before doing so it advertised (in chat i assume?) that the server ip had been changed:
Code: Select all
[22:41:47] Stefan Vervecken: <23:32:26> "TeamSpeak3 Bot": NEWTEAMSPEAK3 CLICK TO ENTER OR IP : 178.217.184.132 NEWTEAMSPEAK3 CLICK TO ENTER OR IP : 178.217.184.132
int the logs we could find (mind the timezone, so 22:37 dutch time):
Code: Select all
2015-03-15 21:37:15.189955|INFO |VirtualServer | 1| query client connected 'Unknown from 199.188.236.23:53845'(id:96)
2015-03-15 21:37:54.132259|INFO |VirtualServerBase| 1| query client disconnected 'TeamSpeak3 Bot'(id:96) reason 'reasonmsg=connection lost'
Couple of minutes later:
Code: Select all
2015-03-15 21:40:09.537356|CRITICAL|ParamParser | | Assertion "positionHint <= m_MyPiece.m_paramSize" failed at common/parameter/parameterparser.cpp:252;
You can readup on this forum for some additional info:

I didnt look to deep into it, i updated the server (packages) and tsserver (to 3.0.11.2, seems to be latest). Stefan and I agreed on changing the password for now, dont know how the bot got the password, but myeah

. Anyway, Stefan will update it tonight and publish it here somewhere on the forums.
Anyway, TS should be good and ready again
Gr,
Alex
