As far as the website goes, what exactly do we want from it?

Personally I'd like to see some Google Wave style collaborative thing where we can all write articles, post links, etc, but does that kind of content management platform exist at a price we can afford?

A scheme with a black background would be nice... my poor eyes

Why I want the role? I don't really, I want everything to be done for me. Unfortunately 99% of the rest of the "community" feels the same way, so I guess we could start there. If elected, I would start enforcing all those little things that you were only encouraged to do in the past, like ...
