I tried adding a game for testing purposes. filled out all fields and selected POTBS. when I tried to add it, it said that I haven't selected a game. Perhaps the variable in the select box isn't being passed to the php script/database?

Okay, that turned out to be not too complicated at all.

The box that shows any games in progress will now only ever show one icon (per specific game), regardless of how many people have said they're playing the game. When you hover over the game icon, the box that pops up will list everyone that said they're playing the game plus the details they've all given.

If someone is playing Counterstrike and you're going to join them, you can still just click the "Add" button as before or alternatively, hover over their Counterstrike game icon and it'll change to a "Join" icon. Click that and the "Add" popup will appear as before but with the game already selected to Counterstrike.

NB: this involved changes some some javascript that is linked to the site in such a way that your browser may not immediately pick up the new version. If you experience any weirdness from the system the next time you use it, please use your browser's hard-refresh action to get rid of old cached copies. (Firefox=CTRL+SHIFT+R, IE=CTRL+F5)

What is that game up at the moment, it says fancy a game of then theres some logo looking like a ninja star thing but it never actually says what game it is.

Allicorn, is there any chance the events shown in the Fancy a game of... box could show the history of games played for for say 10 days or untilthe box fill up? Often I find I'll put a game up for say an hour or 2 but hardly any people see the message as they may visit once a day so have no idea I'm playing that game.

I can probably tweak it to show the "Last 10 games you missed" if there aren't any games that are running now. Good idea.
