At first joining the Community may seem a little confusing with all the talk of different [[:Category:Divisions|Divisions]], [[Forums]], [[Teamspeak]] and everything else people keep mentioning. The idea of this Guide is to breakdown everything you need to do to make the most of your membership to the Community.

Once again Welcome to the Community! The first section below covered the general tasks anyone joining needs to complete. The other sections are split up into what exactly you need to do for the Division of the Community you are joining. Make sure you complete all relevant sections to avoid any problems. Should you need any questions answering, ask a member of the Community or visit the [http://www.thetngc.org.uk/forums/viewforum.php?f=7 Help and Support] section of our forums.

[[Forums]] - Our Forums are your first stop. Cannot stress how important forum registration is. The forums are the Centre of the Community. They are how we stay in contact with all our members. Make sure you join a Usergroup or you won't be able to browse the member section of the Forums.

[[Teamspeak]] - Communication is a very high priority in the Community. Teamspeak has proven an invaluable tool in coordinating in-game and just having somewhere to chat.

[[Code of Conduct]] - If you haven't already make sure you read through the Code of Conducts. The aim of the document is to keep everything running smoothly in the Community.

[[DKP Guide]] - Understanding the DKP system is very important for all members who want to raid. Make sure you read it carefully as there is limited time in Raids and that can't be spent explaining the DKP system.

[[Raid Requirements]] - Before you can Raid you need to make sure you meet all prerequisites for your class. Being prepared will make Raiding much more fun!

[[Raid Equipment]] - What you bring to a Raid decides if its a success or failure. Make sure you have the right gear!
