Registration

Although anyone can create a forum account. Signing up to the forums does NOT make you a TNGC member. That is only official once you join a Usergroup.

1. First you need to create an account (NOTE: This account will also be used to access the TNGC portal). To do this click here. Make a note of the VIP Code. Fill in the form then submit your account details. You will receive an E-mail within a few minutes. Click the link in that E-mail and your account will become active.
2. Second step is to apply for membership in a Usergroup. Each Usergroup is run by a Divisional Leader and gives access rights to different sections on the forums.
   1. Click the Usergroup link in the forum menu.
   2. Under Join A Group select the group you wish to join and click View Information
   3. In the Group Information box click Join Group
3. Next you will need to wait for your Divisional Leader to approve your request. Should be within the day.

As soon as you get access to the forums you can now post. Welcome to the forums! Don't forget to check the rest of this page for more information about using the forums.

Should you find your request to join a Usergroup and Access the rest of the forums has gone unanswered. Contact the relevant Divisional Leader (Eg, Killerwolf for Nemetos Order) in game or post in the Help and Support section of the forums listing;

Ranks

Each forum rank requires a specific amount of posts to achieve that rank. The Requirements are;

• Warrior = 1+ posts
• Point Commander = 25+ posts
• Star Commander = 100+ posts
• Star Captain = 500+ posts
• Star Colonel = 1000+ posts
• Galaxy Commander = Unknown posts
• Sakhan = Unknown posts
• Khan = Unknown posts

When you reach the milesstone for a higher rank you are automatically promoted. The names of the Ranks are taken from the Clan Ranking system in the Battletech Universe that Clan Diamond Wolf immersed itself in.

There are several custom ranks which people have that override these ranks. The custom ranks are given to people who have a particular role in the community and others who have had funny custom ranks added without their knowledge :)

Signatures

One of the most popular features of any forums is the use of signatures, especially ones which give details about your character from your favourite game.

Nemetos Order Signatures

WoWroster allows you to view details about your character and the guild from our website by uploading data gathered by a UI mod. As well as generate signature images like the ones used by some members already. Please note that the automatic update feature doesn't work right now so use these instructions to update manually.

Instructions

1. First download Characterprofiler from our website >> http://downloads.thetngc.org.uk/wow/ Note: You must use the latest version posted in our downloads section. No other one will work.
2. Next install Characterprofiler like any other mod and run WoW. It will automatically start gathering information about your character from your bank to your spellbook next time you open them.
3. Lastly visit the update profile page at http://nemetos.thetngc.org.uk/wowroster/update.php You only need to fill in the first box. PvPlog data is optional and the password box is only for Admins.

Adding Avatar & Signatures

To show your WoW Avatar goto your forum profile and use the link to off site avatar in the format

For your signature goto your profile again and add the following in the Signature box

Obviously you need to replace my characters name with yours :)

Tip: If you want to customize the background for your Avatar or signature image. Feel free to ask on the Help & Support section on the forum. You'll need a PNG file with the same dimensions for the new background to work.
