Much like my
previous post I've decided its time to leave my current ISP due to ongoing issues over the last 6 months.
What we need is someone who has a fast Internet connection 1Mbps+
upload to host teamspeak and another similar speed connection to host a game server for TrackManianations. As thats are only other active game we need a server for at this moment.
Anyone volunteering?
If this isn't possible I suggest we group together and buy a dedicated server for around £500 a year. Then each donate some cash through paypal or whatever. I'll throw in £20 or so. I'm sure other people could contribute also

For a dedicated box that could host the website/TS/Game Servers. Oh and my weekend break to New York

Actually simply solution... you staying with Plus.net Amiga? If so I could probably get permission to transfer the admin details to your account.
Although I've no idea why you would want to stay

After Plus.net bought Metronet the other month. I'm one of the unfortunate people who was moved off the new 622Mbit pipes onto the old 155Mbit Metronet pipes. Basically Plus.net deicded to move the Metronet customer to the Plus.net platform as they needed more room. Everyone in the @plus.net ADSL realm (the original one when Plus.net launched ADSL, i.e long term customers) got moved to the metronet platform as now we need more room also and for the last month we've had awful performance. Basically my main problem is the slow upload speeds and high pings. Its make it impossible to form a reliable connection between Uni and Home

I got ADSL2+ here, but working on getting fiber-opto. Im actually working in that new construction area (500m from here), and every new house there gets opto. So i dont think anybody will notice a extra line down to the Zonkhouse

. But untill then, i got 951 kbit/s TCP and 982 kbit/s UDP up atm. So if you think thats enough, let me know.

Really wish Plusnet would make up their minds what they are doing. After all the kicking and screming these past few weeks everything seems to be better this week and I've been informed my connection is getting upgraded to 3.5Mbit in 11 days. So for now I'm staying again and we still have a Teamspeak server
