Me and my friend are atm, struggling with a powerpoint presentation that is due tomorrow. We're trying to get a .avi movie file to play in powerpoint. We managed to get the clip to play but the sound is missing.... Anyone got any ideas on how to solve this?

yes, so it's quite weird that the sound is not there in powerpoint.

I just tried playing a variety of video files in Powerpoint. Some work fine, others just have working sound or video and some just fail to work at all. I can't explain why though as they all play fine in Windows Media Player.
Hopefully someone else knows whats wrong...

We jsut managed to figure it out, sort of. We embedded WMP in powerpoint presentation and set the setting; Play automatically full screen mode.
