Ok so Alas and I are spending way too much time screwing around with the server....... Teamspeak 3 next

We could just put a button up in 5 minutes but we really need to wait a few days to setup the donations properly.

We probably need to setup a new paypal account (if possible) for purely the community. Should Theo ever be unable to act as treasurer we could really do with a paypal account a few people have access too. Plus it would be less work in the long term as we'd never need to transfer funds between paypal accounts or reconfigure payment buttons on the website.

not sure how practical this is, paypal accounts are tied to real accounts (so you can move the money in and out)

if it can be done easily then i'm all for it, otherwise it may simply be more practical to simply keep using my paypal account, in the unlikely event of me no longer being able to commit the time i can just make a bank transfer of the remaining funds.

Paypal doesn't need to be link to a real account to receive payments as far as I know. The only issue arises when you want to buy a service that you can't pay for with paypal. In that case we would havwe to transfer to someones paypal account and he can then buy whatever we need.

Well thats sounds like the best solution. Theo sets up a second PayPal account for the Community. When we need Theo to pay for something he simply transfers the Paypal funds to his account and pays. Or indeed to someone elses account if they need to pay for something.

Don't think Theo as had time this week. Not visited the forums in 3 days and I've not seen him online (not that I've been online much either!)
