Re: Backup mumble server
Probably a routing issue then. If its down for some people while available to others at the same time it must be routing.
Shall we move to another Comms server then? Since Niels doesn't have time to troubleshoot right now?
I must admit I wouldn't mind trying Teamspeak 3 again for the BF3 squad VOIP plugin. Or do people want to continue with Mumble?

Re: Backup mumble server
Do you have many issues? Cause on WoW we basically barely have any ever.
Even Lex and Naru disconnecting basically only happens once at a set time (but since lex hasnt raided for a few weeks I forgot how late it was:P)

Re: Backup mumble server
Somethings screwed up. The server is down and booting it doesn't seem to fix.
EDIT: It does seem to be up now. I think in the future I'll have to clean this server out. Apperently it was booting up some stuff that caused it to use too much memory after applying an update.

Re: Backup mumble server
How is it now? I seem to get the occasional dissonect and then automatic reconnect. Same thing as lex was having? Other then that it seems to be up.

We live in Groningen! i originate from the fine frisians!Caldazar wrote:I do want to note that it is not neccesarily a mumble issue, we are raiding with 10 and only lex and narugetsu disconnect at that time. Other people from the netherlands (tohmazz) have no issues, nor others from other countries. No idea about Qwan and Ziggo, but Lex and Naru have a high likelyhood of it being related to their internet, seeing they both live in friesland
p.s. had one dc during tactic discussion yesterday btw, dont think narugetsu dc'd! probs something todo with Ziggo anyway, but just to keep you updated!

Got digital TV from ziggo and they have indeed been having trouble. My internet is not with them though.Lex wrote: We live in Groningen! i originate from the fine frisians!
