Hmmm those two torrents you added prinses aren't working. Did you upload them via the UPLOAD A FILE page?
If you did, When you uploaded them did you get a progress window? Where there any errors?

The reason that is so slow is I restrict the amount of bandwidth Bittorrent uses in the evening so it doesnt effect my gaming. We do need more people to seed though.. Ill add that to the guide.
Ok, so you just have to stop gaming then

. Two seeders now and speed around 35kb. Im seeding some piratebay torrents atm at 125kb up, so ill try and dl and seed popular torrents.

Well, I'll seed everything when my comp is switched on - I'll be cutting it off when I'm gaming obviously though.

Just use Speed Schedular Amiga. Goto PLUGINS >> INSTALLATION WIZARD and select
By list from sourceforge.net
I was playing CS:S tonight with a ping of around 35 downloading at 20KB and uploading at 10KB on Bittorrent.
Cheers for seeding guys

From now no I suggest you don't use the Individual files smaller then 50 MB method for uploading files. It seems pretty unreliable. People keep saying they get a timeout message uploading big files. Works for me across my home network but obviously that is much faster.

Any chance some other people can help seed? Only me seeding at the moment and my connection isn't running in top form. Definately need another seeder for the burning crusade beta as I imagine everyone will want that when they released the next set of beta keys.

Ah so that you connected. Didn't know you'd gone to pipex. You finding them any good?
Oh and during the night is the best time to download a torrent if i'm the only seed. I remove the throttle that I have on in the day so I don't lag out in games.

Yes you did:
http://www.thetngc.org.uk/forums/viewto ... c&start=30
http://www.thetngc.org.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2312
Lets see:
Reliability: Awesome
UL Speed: Very Good.
DL Speed: Lets say. 2MB.
*Shrug*.
DL Speed is obviously more BT that anything else...
tech support was fair. when i chased up my speed problems vs my line stats?
(Currently)
Code: Select all
DSL Status : Up
DSL Modulation Mode : GDMT
DSL Path Mode : FAST
Downstream Rate : 8128 Kbps
Upstream Rate : 448 Kbps
Downstream Margin : 6 db
Upstream Margin : 25 db
Downstream Line Attenuation : 26
Upstream Line Attenuation : 11
Downstream Transmit Power : 0
Upstream Transmit Power : 0
basically they gave me the reply i'd posted in the "Ongoing UK wide broadband rollout" thread... but i never followed it up as it was a few days before i was going to south africa.

Doh.. I remember now
If you had 2 MBit ADSL before MAX you need to ask pipex to poke BT to update your line profile as you should be getting the full 8Mbit with those line stats.
