why don't I stay logged even when I select the "leg me in automatically" option? it's really annoying when I have to login everytime I click the favorite button to go back to first page

I'm not planning to keep this style. Its just the default one with the latest version of the forum software. The old styles are not compatible so I had to use this. Feel free to help redesign the old styles or your own ones and I'll add them.

ProSilver bites big wind!
(that means its bad)
Moving posts' biogs tn the right strikes me of "different for the sake of being different". Since the majority of posts do not contain very long run-on lines (like this one) which span the whole width of the forum (on a high resolution display), there is a huge blank space between the content of the post and its biog. Daft.
I agree about background colors. Far too similar. For those of us with limited color vision - near identical. The removal of the slightly darker dividing line between posts and the below-post button line (from subSilver) can make a page of posts and sigs blur into a single long smear of undifferentiated text.
Borders, as a concept, exist for a reason. Use of borders in an interface can not only divide the page but help visually relate connected interface elements together. Removing all the borders (nearly all, and making the rest so pale so as they're barely visible) is a move taken by someone far more concerned with "Web 2.0 fashion" than functional interface design.
Ahhh.... I feel so much better now I've had a nice whinge
I dare say I'd get used to it given time, and the flexibility of the PHPBB3 style setup makes it an impressive bit of code. However, I do feel that ProSilver is definitely a step backwards in interface design and serves to make a forum a less usable and accessible place.
FWIW, "keep me logged in" seems to be working fine for me.

I would like more skins/themes to be added so we have more choice in how the forum looks and feels

okay i have it sorted now, for anyone else that is having this problem make sure you are connecting to the new domain name (
http://www.terranovagaming.com/forums) as it seems that the old thetngc.org.uk one that i was connecting to wont auto log you on

Ahh, but it's fantastic for those of us doing our browing on PDA's etc - it now means I can see the content of the post more easily without having to scroll to the right.
