Aha, still feels like more then just one forum is gone.
Maybe the lack of sleep at nights is getting to me now.

Cant we use some "pre-made" styles? Found this place with loads of styles rdy to dl http://www.phpbb3styles.net/ . This one looks like the old "solaris" style http://demo.phpbb3styles.net/darksunyellow

I've enabled the subSilver2 forum style which is the official remake of the default style for the previous version of the forum software. I don't think it looks that good compared to the new style but it may be easier to read for some people.
To change to it, goto: User Control Panel > Board Preferences > My board style

I won't. I prefer it of the 2 styles. Yes it is a bit bright. Otherwise its a very good layout.

subsilver2 is better for me, but i do prefer a dark background. So, oh mighty Fj, cant you add one please. Dont think you need to remove anything, just add one and ppl who want it can choose it.

I like the subsilver2 more then the original.
Much easier to see what threads are new or have been posted in.
And a bit darker to

Ok I've installed darksunyellow since 3 people have requested a dark theme.

man.

I actually love the default theme - its just a pity it doesn't have just a tad more contrast.

I actually prefer a design that doesn't stretch to the monitor size (poor me with my 1650x1080)

Now i'm torn between designs
