Website moving

The website is moving web hosts tonight. We are also changing domain names from
http://www.thetngc.org.uk to
http://www.terranovagaming.com .
Expect some problems accessing the site tonight/tomorrow. I'll be on Xfire and Teamspeak if there is a specific problem.

Does this mean we have to register to forums over again, or will the data be transferred too?

I'm going to transfer the whole site. It should appear exactly as it does now.
Anyhow update 1: We have signed up for and paid our new host. Just waiting for the domain servers to accept our new domain name now.

I'm backing up the website now. Then I'll start transferring the files. Once I've started moving the files I'll lock the forums on our current host so people aren't posting in 2 different locations.

The website has now been moved. Although the site is online there are many broken links and such to fix. I'll do that in the morning though as I need sleep!
Please report any broken links or links pointing to
http://www.thetngc.org.uk instead of
http://www.terranovagaming.com . Thanks

going to the portal on the new address and following the link to the forums takes you to the old forum address not the new one

Will fix that shortly, plus any other odd little references to thetngc.org that are likely to still be around.

The old domain name has been pushed to our server host. As soon as peoples DNS servers update everyone should have access to the site again. All those who are connecting via the old address will need to update therir bookmarks to the new address within the next 6 months.

oh just realised, the banner at the top of the forums has the old address
maybe an opportunity for a redesign?

I've fixed all the links in Teamspeak and on the Teamspeak status page now also.
The forums are being upgraded anyhow. Will update all the links when I do that later in the week.

Found the first problem with the transfer. For some reason the wiki database got nuked.

Not sure what is happening with the old domain name. It still hasn't been transfered to point to this server. I know many people keeping finding the forums are offline when they visit the site. Just make sure you are using the URL
http://www.terranovagaming.com/forums
Hopefully the old domain will be transferred soon so people can still use the site while we fix all the links to point at the new domain name.
