Please start a new thread titled "Forum Activation - <forum username you registered with>"

• Say Hello and introduce yourself, then..
• What division of the community you are applying for; e.g New World Order, Nemetos Order, Myriad Apocalypse Project
• Gaming Alias - If different to the name you applied to join the community with or were recruited as.
• Include the name of the person who recruited you

Once you make the post. A member of the community will need to "claim" you - we don't want any unexpected visitors
Then your account will be activated by a forum admin and a member of the division you have joined will add you to the correct usergroup so you can access the member area of the forums.

cant say that i do.

Maybe we need to make sure new recruits/members of our divisions get guided to the forums (better) which includes a help/activation topic so we dont have to give you the trouble of woundering who (potential) new people are.

my basic guideluines for new recruits (eventho we havent had any lately, we could say nemetos order is quite stable lately) are:
- welcoming to the guild.
- Tell about visiting our community forum <url> where an account can be created.
- Tell about Making a help/support post to request forum access where: 'you explain who you are, that your a new member of the nemetos order division who's asking for account activation'.

Doesnt take that much time

The first skillcheck which makes me laugh is when people register to the forum, there's a question of "Type the text between www. and .com in our website address above". Suprises me how many people fail there or dont know what to do... could be wow tho, not everyone in there is as bright as the sun.

i wish we could just force people to write into the headline from where they are coming; swtor,WoW, visitor etc .
some do it but most don't, it seems.
i think, some people want to check out the website before they apply for 'a' game, that's why the division leaders don't recognize the name, because they haven't decided to apply yet. just a theory thou
