Game Servers
Currently the community has 2 game servers which are provided by Plus.net. These can be used for a variety of games. The games the server can run are limited to games which have Linux Dedicated Server Packages available. The servers have successfully run Battlefield 2, Half Life 2 Deathmatch, Dystopia (HL2 mod) and CounterStrike Source. Unfortunately some games have proved not compatible such as Track Mania Nations. Because each machine is a Dual-processor machine it can run two servers at once. Feel free to request the servers be configured for a game of your choice. So long as there is a Linux Dedicated Server Package available for the game you wish to play I'm happy to try and install it. Remember when suggesting a game please post on the Suggestions & Complaints section of the forums with as much detail as possible. Ideally in your post make sure you include the Game title, Server requirements, installation guide and link to download the Server Package.
