Hunter

Classleader: Parkhead

Attention to all hunters, old and new.

Now that I am formally the class leader of hunters I will be setting the standard of excellence very high, and you MUST meet and exceed those expectations. Every day.

The first note is timekeeping and attendance: Personally I expect you to be able to make at least 4 raids during the week and preferably during weekdays. The more raids you attend and do your job properly the higher you will rise in rank and be recognised. Not only must you attend those raids but you must be on time for them as well. If everyone is on at 18:00 GMT ready to start then we don’t waste 40 minutes outside an instance waiting for people, it just gives you a bad name if you do this.

The second note is consumables: Now that the consumables have been nerfed there is actually no plausible excuse that you don’t come prepared. Below is the list of what I expect you to have at least for every 25 man raid.

Flask of Relentless Assault (you may use elixirs are your discretion but you have to have enough for every boss attempt) Full quiver/ammo pouch of Wardens Arrows or Felbane Slugs (the arrows are 45s from the Cenarion Expedition quartermaster and the bullets are from the Honor Hold quartermaster) Enough money to repair up to 150% (I know this varies from person to person but you are looking at 50g roughly) Superior Mana Oil (this is optional if you have no problems with mana but it isn’t expensive) Warp Burgers (again not expensive but it takes less than 20 minutes to get enough for the night, and most cooks have spares in the guild) Superior Mana Potions 10 minimum (again some people do not have problems with mana but when you are full fledged nuking on a fight mana goes down fast, and I will not have people using aspect of the viper during boss fights) Superior Health Potions 10 (optional) (these are the only consumables that I am lenient on that they share the same cooldown with mana potions, you should be able to avoid damage if you are being careful and are paying attention) Heavy Netherweave Bandages 20 minimum

The third note is enchantments/gems/armor kits on gear: Nothing but the best quite frankly. If you are going to get more benefit from 15 agility on gloves than 26 attack power then I want to see it. You need to put the effort in like that extra few hundred gold for nethercobra instead of cobra hide leg armor. All the small things add up in the end. You have to have blue or epic quality gems in your gear and it has to be 100% pve oriented such as an 8ap 2mp5 gem instead of a 12stam gem in a blue socket. I WILL check up on this.

The fourth note is talent builds: All talent builds must be 100% pve oriented. As it stands right now Parkhead - Marksmanship/Survival Obanas - Beast Mastery/Marksmanship Quevelin - Survival/Marksmanship

The fifth note is mods: Deadly Boss Mods Guild Event Manager SWstats Ktm threat meter They are the only essential mods you need, shot cooldown timer is a good one aswell but it is optional.

The sixth note is enthusiasm and effort: Myself and Obanas have shown that hunters can be in the top 5 in dps constantly. There is no reason why it should not be that way. It requires quite a bit of concentration but you can squeeze every last bit of dps out of your character. It makes the raid a lot more fun and enjoyable if you try to push yourself and get the best out of your character. (This doesn’t mean overnuking though, Blizzard gave us feign for a reason) You have to come knowing the tactics aswell, be able to recite them infact. Watch a few movies of the encounter to pass the time and see it from a different angle (not during the raid please!). DON’T BE AFRAID TO GIVE YOUR SAY IN HUNTER CHAT! That is what it is there for, you may know something that will make the encounter a lot easier. Just don’t go shouting it over teamspeak and guildchat before myself and the other officers look over it.

Remember dudes/dudettes this is a team effort and without everyone giving 100% we will never progress and see that content we all desperately want to see.
