Welcome!

At first joining the Community may seem a little confusing with all the talk of different Divisions, Forums, Teamspeak and everything else people keep mentioning. The idea of this Guide is to breakdown everything you need to do to make the most of your membership to the Community. You should complete each task then come back to this guide to complete the next stage. Some tasks are shown as optional. These don't need to be completed but will help greatly in improving your experience in the community.

Once again Welcome to the Community! The first section below covers the general tasks anyone joining needs to complete. The other sections are split up into what exactly you need to do for the Division of the Community you are joining. Make sure you complete all relevant sections to avoid any problems. Should you need any questions answering, ask a member of the Community or visit the Help and Support section of our forums.

Community Registration

Forums

Our Forums are your first stop. I cannot stress how important forum registration is. The forums are the Centre of the Community. They are how we stay in contact with all our members. Although anyone can create a forum account. Signing up to the forums does NOT make you a Community member. That is only official once you join a Usergroup.

1. First you need to create an account. To do this click here. (NOTE: This account will also be used to access the Community Portal).
   1. Fill in the form then submit your account details.
   2. You will receive an E-mail within a few minutes. Click the link in that E-mail to confirm your dertails. You now need to wait for a forum Administrator to Activate your account. Once Activated you can now access the Guest and Registered Users sections of the forums.
2. The Second step is to apply for membership in a Usergroup. Each Usergroup is run by a Divisional Leader and gives access rights to all sections on the forums.
   1. Click the User Control Panel link in the forum menu.
   2. Now goto the Usergroups tab
   3. Under Edit Memberships select the group you wish to join by clicking the button to the right of the Usergroup
   4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Join Selected and press Submit
3. Next you will need to wait for your Divisional Leader to approve your request. Should be within the day.

You should then be able to post in all sections. Welcome to the forums!

Should you find your account hasn't been activated or your request to join a Usergroup and access the rest of the forums has gone unanswered. Contact the relevant Divisional Leader in game or post in the Help and Support section of the forums listing;

Teamspeak

Communication is a very high priority in the Community. Teamspeak has proven an invaluable tool in coordinating in-game and just having somewhere to chat. Note: Teamspeak guide needs to be updated to Teamspeak 3. For now please visit this thread on the Community forums.

Divisional Requirements

Steam

Steam provides an Events system which we use to schedule AvA nights. Therefore it is essential you join our SteamGroup to avoid the disappointment of missing out. Any Community member can invite you to the group. If you already have a friend in the Community ask them to send you an invite by right-clicking on your Username in their SteamFriends list to send an invite. Otherwise head to the Community forums and post in this thread.

Voice Chat (VoIP)

Quick note on Voice chat in game. We are using Teamspeak 3 (see above) for voice communications until the Global Agenda 1.1 patch when we plan to switch to the in-game VoIP system.
